In these early days, all I do is lay here with a hot cold pack pressed against my uterus. Dear baby of mine, you are exhausting and I can understand why people consider a fetuses little energy leeches. Child, you are knocking me for a loop. I am tired all of the time and I sleep most of the day. I haven’t had any morning sickness with you, for that I am grateful, but I am not going to lie and say that the prenatal vitamins aren’t completely disgusting. With all of Mommy’s existing indigestion issues, every time I burp, I can taste the vitamins in the bottom of my stomach and they taste like fish. You’re killing me smalls.

I must say, in terms of cravings, you don’t have me completely up the wall. You have some great ideas like macaroni and cheese the moment that somebody on TV suggested that should be a meal we indulge in, and chocolate pudding — which I made from scratch – a culinary masterpiece in a kitchen thatI did not quite have all of the necessary ingredients.

Mommy is scared all of the time, especially with the COVID-19 crisis and the constant news coverage of all of the things that could go wrong.
